This acrylic painting was my final piece for the A-level project entitled 'found', there are strong influences from the artists Pichi&Avo and Conor Harrington. I wanted to show a contrast between the unfinished and the intricate, whilst layering the piece with graffiti and abstract paint to bring the classical Greek sculpture a purpose in the modern society.
Below shows my process to reach the final outcome, using my own imagery as references of the story of Pygmalion and Galetea.
